BioThis is the private journal of Elizabeth Bishop.
Occupation: Poet; professor -- if you're over-qualified for my class, I'll quickly evict you ... but we can meet in my office later to discuss matters.
Location: Worcester, Nova Scotia, Cape Cod, Brazil. I have no home. But Sexton's waterbed is looking pretty damn comfortable right about now.
Activities: Writing poems for Lota and Alice, drinking vodka, contemplating mooses, walking on the beach with Lowell, editing poems (tortuously), rejecting ardent proposals (on grounds of being a lesbian, naturally), traveling, sleeping it all off.
